Throughout he's YouTube video he explains how and when Michael would Sing and Play these tracks to the Nephews and what he took from each song as inspiration.

She Drives Me Crazy - Fine Young Cannibals
A lot of the time when Michael dissected a song and break it down, to learn the importance of it and why it was there. Studying the importance of each instrument, when it comes in, why it comes in and to focus on one instrument at a time. He would listen to it through a Fisher Price music cassette player which was mono. Surprisingly not a fancy sound system with speakers. When you did that, you could hear the sound clearly. This was the first time Taj dissected a song together with Michael and that was to 'She Drive Me Crazy'.
